		A CNA (Certified Novell Administrator) is a vendor-specific certification for technicians using Novell networks. Typically the technician will be providing on-site administration for software users in professional offices or small businesses or departments. They will be using NetWare6, NetWare5, NetWare4.11 or GroupWise. Novell recommend that individuals have CompTIA Network+ certification before they attempt this certification; they have found that this is an excellent preparation for their CNA. This certification covers tasks such as setting up user workstations and print servers, managing network applications and share software resources, and handling routine software maintenance. The certification enables CNAs to provide help and support to the users of the network.
